Privacy Policy

SkyDeck does not collect anything personal, only anonymous interaction data which can be used to optimise functionalities. In no way can this be linked to you or your data like followers, posts, or personal information.

We use PostHog to collect anonymised usage data. This helps us understand how our users are using our app and how we can improve it. PostHog does not collect any personally identifiable information, and all data is processed on servers in the European Union. You can read more about PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

On this website, PostHog runs in cookieless mode. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to local or session storage; visits are counted server-side using a privacy-preserving hash instead. Nothing else on this site writes to your device either — the light and dark appearance follows your system setting rather than anything we store. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here.

If you sign up for release notes, the email address you enter is sent to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a service based in the United States, which stores it and delivers the emails. It is used for nothing else, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

The app additionally reports the same anonymised usage data to TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information either; you can read more at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

Your Bluesky data — followers, posts and engagement history — is stored locally on your device and is not sent to a server operated by us.

Errors that happen while signing in or syncing are reported to PostHog so they can be fixed. Crash reports reach us only through Apple, and only if you have opted into sharing them with developers in your iOS settings.

Feature requests submitted from inside the app are handled by WishKit, which stores what you write there.
